Austin Cresap

MA, LMFT, Sex Therapist, Sex Educator, (She/Her), Sex, Relationship & Intimacy Therapist

I am a sex, relationship, and intimacy therapist who focuses on non-judgmental and compassionate support; I believe everyone deserves to lead passionate and pleasure-filled lives. I respectfully treat individuals of all orientations, cultural backgrounds, and spiritual connections. I am dedicated to creating a safe space for people to explore their sex, intimacy, gender, and relational journeys.

What You Can Expect

As a sex therapist and marriage and family therapist, I look forward to working with you individually, as a couple, and in any relational constellation of which you are a part. I particularly enjoy working with those exploring, discovering, and reclaiming their sexual selves, as well as relationship strengthening, gender orientation, diversity in sexual expression/kink/BDSM, sex work, and those who have experienced sexual trauma. I also enjoy working with people experiencing sexual health concerns, including pelvic floor pain, painful sex, erectile concerns, orgasmic difficulty, and areas of desire, arousal, eroticism, and sexual interest.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, compassionate, and rooted in Attachment, EMDR, and Polyvagal theory. I believe therapy should be collaborative as humans are unique and complex. How you learn and process is important information and I will gradually encourage you to expand your comfort zone.

My Story

I am a neurodivergent trauma survivor with a passion for people. I was raised by a hippie mom and conservative grandparents. This dichotomy allowed me to see how differently people experience the world. My previous jobs have included childcare and the service industry which equipped me with the skills of creativity and adaptability. Prior to obtaining my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Sex Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle, I received three associate degrees at a city college in California.

Interests

While I am not working you can find me adventuring in nature, reading a book, cooking or learning something new. My self-care includes yoga, cheesy murder mysteries, good wine, gardening, and loving on my pets.
