Tania G. Del Real

LMFTA  (she/her/ella) | Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
Provides In-person and Telehealth Sessions in Washington

Hola hola, I’m Tania! I’m a Lesbian/Queer, 1rst-generation Mexican American originally from Los Angeles, CA. I’ve spent the last 10+ years living in various parts of Oregon and Washington. I offer therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish to adults navigating life, healing, relationships, intimacy, and reconnection with self and others. I work with both individuals and couples seeking deeper connection, understanding, and alignment with themselves and in their relationships.

As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I’ve carried the weight of expectations like “calladita te ves más bonita,” while learning to reclaim my voice, soften toward myself, and reconnect with ancestral wisdom. My personal healing journey and professional experience, in schools, non-pro ts, jails, detention centers, medical settings, and people’s homes, shape the way I hold space: with care, curiosity, and a deep commitment to relational, community-rooted, and socially just mental health care. I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families across ages, identities, immigration statuses, mental health experiences, and life paths, and I bring that breadth of experience into every session.

In our work together, I value validation, collaboration, and moving at your pace. Healing happens when we work alongside each other, honor where you are, and re ect the wisdom you already carry. You don’t have to do this alone. I see healing as a process of reconnecting, with the parts of you that have always known, endured, and longed to be seen. Together, we’ll explore what’s been heavy, what’s been hidden, and what brings you pleasure, vitality, and connection. This work may include conversations about intimacy, desire, communication, boundaries, shame, or the ways trauma and stress show up in our bodies and relationships, always with care, consent, and respect. Nothing is too awkward, taboo, or “too much.”

My approach blends somatic and relational practices, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Liberation Psychology, and anti-colonial healing frameworks. I support individuals and couples in repairing ruptures, deepening emotional and physical intimacy, and building relationships that feel honest, nourishing, and aligned. Whether through storytelling, silence, laughter, music, or art, I welcome all the ways you show up.

Outside of therapy, I love reading, cooking, going to concerts, spending time by the ocean, and being with my people. Healing is personal, political, and possible, and I’d be honored to work alongside you on your journey.
